Polyurethane Paint

Surface
Matt or semi-gloss
Composition
Polyurethane-based top coat
Resistance
UV and weather
Use
Outdoor and moving floors

A polyurethane-based top coat that keeps its flexibility. It does not yellow under UV and is more tolerant of cracking than epoxy on floors that move with temperature change.

Epoxy is hard and rigid; it can crack when the floor expands and contracts. Polyurethane paint stays flexible and absorbs that movement, which is why it is preferred in open car parks, on ramps and in areas whose temperature changes through the day.

Thanks to its UV resistance it does not yellow outdoors. It is also applied as a top coat over an epoxy primer, keeping the chemical resistance of the system underneath while adding weather and sunlight resistance on top.
